Why do we paint murals?
August 23, 2022
Big.
Murals are big.
Bright. A building becomes a canvas of story, of color,
Powerful swooping swirls of yellow, orange, red.
Or sad colors, mad colors. Black, grey, empty colors.
Green, paint the many shades of hope, plant, protect, grow.
Look. No words needed. Everyone can understand the story.
People come together, paint together. Celebrate. Defend. Strengthen. Share.
It can be messy.
No longer us and them.
We.
We speak in full color, together.
Big.
Murals are big.
