Social and Emotional Books

More good books are coming out that address the important issue of social-emotional problems facing kids today. Rachel Funez’s picture book, Sonia and the Super-Duper Disaster is one example, a rollicking fun picture book about a child coping with ADHD. My recent book, Walking Grandma Home, shows the journey of a grandchild and family responding to the journey of a loved one dying. Another terrific resource is Groundwood’s Feeling and Healing Catalog. Share these books with the children and teens in your life.
